S.W.A.T. is an American procedural action drama television series, based on the 1975 television series and 2003 film of the same name. Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan developed the new series, [1] which premiered on CBS on November 2, 2017, [2] and is produced by Original Film, CBS Studios and Sony Pictures Television.

S.W.A.T. follows an elite Special Weapons and Tactics unit of the Los Angeles Police Department. The first half of the season aired on Fridays at 8:00 p.m., then later moved to Sundays at 10:00 p.m. This was the last season to feature Lina Esco as a series regular.
