  6. PHILEMON. The letter to Philemon is the shortest of the Pauline epistles. It is addressed, not to a church, although a church is mentioned, but to a person, Philemon. As such it differs greatly from the epistles Paul must have written approximately at the same time, (Philippians, Ephesians and Colossians).
