During the last episode Raylan donates a very used looking copy of The Friends of Eddie Coyle (by George V. Higgins) to Tim Gutterson. The shot lingered suggestively on the book, so I went and read it.

Just finished reading The Friends of Eddie Coyle which was an absolutely delightful book. Higgins’ style is pretty similar to Leonard’s which makes for some solid dessert reading. Gonna try to check out the Mitchum movie next.
