As in Andrew Bujalski’s films, The Puffy Chair ’s characters inhabit a world where everyone seems to have signed off on a pledge of solipsism, their every conversation and undertaking an egomaniacal reflection of their refusal to grow up.

I saw "The Puffy Chair" at South by Southwest, and it is an excellent film. It is genuine, thoughtful, and alternately hilarious and melancholy. It deserves to be the new "Garden State."
