Hooker and Gondorff set about implementing an elaborate scheme, one so crafty that Lonnegan won't even know he's been swindled.
“The Sting” is one of the most stylish movies of the year. That’s an especially pleasant surprise because it reunites the co-stars and the director of “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” a movie I thought was overrated.
Although the main ‘sting’ in the movie involves gambling on horse racing, one of the best set-piece swindles is where Gondorff out-cheats Lonnegan during a rigged game of poker.
