A man in an Air Force jumpsuit wanders into a deserted town and has a breakdown. He is actually an astronaut-trainee in a simulation of a moon flight, and his hallucination is caused by isolation.
He tells himself to wake up, and when the cell door begins to close, goes running through the neighborhood, screaming "Where is everybody? He continues to wander the town, still failing to find anyone.
