Tinky Winky, (played by Dave Thompson (1997), and Simon Shelton (1997-2001), and voiced by Mark Heenehan (from 1997-2001), and in the original series and Jeremiah Krage (2015-present) in the new series) is the first Teletubby. He is the largest and oldest of the Teletubbies, being 10 feet tall.
Tinky Winky. Tinky Winky is purple, the biggest Teletubby and almost always goes first! He is gentle, soft and a dreamer. He can be a little indecisive but is also very thoughtful. His signature move is putting his arms out to the side (for “T”) and then upwards, with bent elbows, for “W”.

Tinky Winky is the 1st Teletubby who's famous for his t-shaped triangle that is shaped like a filter funnel, hence the name 'Tinky Winky'. His favourite object is a red handbag, in which he calls the handbag "Tinky Winky Bag".
