There’s some action to be had. But if you like the TV series, you’ll like the whole taunting and raging and aggressive speeches better. The gameplay is severely limited in the demo, as you only get to play with two characters and a chapter or so.
Graphics are terrifyingly bad. If you look close enough, you’ll see pixels on the skin. Character movements are clunky and unrealistic.
If you play the demo, you might have a difficult time getting familiar with the controls. The tutorial doesn’t really show you how to play. There are intricate combos you’d need to find on your own. To even get anywhere, though, you'll want the full version.
Besides the super clunky controls, there isn't much to do in the game. You need to win matches to unlock characters, but you can’t when you don’t even know how to fight. Most of the fight consists of wrestlers running around in the ring.
All in all, this isn’t an entertaining experience. There are many versions of WWE Raw. Starting from WWE ‘12, every title onward is a better alternative.
One good aspect of WWE Raw is that it successfully captures the atmosphere of the TV series. The music and audience noise, heckling, and all that are found in the game. You’ll find the action rather disappointing.
