Skaneateles (/ ˌ s k æ n i ˈ æ t l ə s / SKAN-ee-AT-ləs, locally / ˌ s k ɪ n-/ SKIN-) is a town in Onondaga County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 Census, the population was 7,112. The name is from the Iroquois term for the adjacent Skaneateles Lake, which means "long lake."

Jul 5, 2022 · 1. Get Pampered At Mirbeau Inn & Spa. My absolute favorite thing to do to make Skaneateles worth visiting is spending a day, or night (or two!), at Mirbeau Inn & Spa. Mirbeau now has a few locations in New York State, as well as one in Massachusetts, but the Skaneateles location is their original.
