Jul 18, 2013 · James Franciscus, the virile actor whose talents enabled him to portray characters ranging from flinty cops to affable teachers, died late Monday night. Franciscus died of emphysema at Medical Center of North Hollywood, said his friend and publicist Phil Paladino.
He was married to Carla Deen Ankney from 1980 to July 8, 1991 and Kathleen 'Kitty' Wellman from March 28, 1960 to February 21, 1979.
