Hunter Tylo (born Deborah Jo Hunter; July 3, 1962) is an author and a former American actress and model. She was a formidable opponent against other typecasts in her pre-eminent portrayal of Dr. Taylor Hayes (1990–2002, 2004–14, 2018–19) on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Mar 13, 2022 · Not long after Hunter Tylo won her lawsuit against Aaron Spelling, she gave birth to a baby girl she named Katya. As an infant, Katya was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer. According to CNN, Tylo noticed something wrong with her newborn when she was about two weeks old.
Tylo was born Deborah Jo Hunter, in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 3, 1962, to Jo Anne and Morris Jabez Hunter. She is of Cherokee (Native American) descent from her mother’s side. She has an older sister named Elizabeth and a younger brother named Cliff.
An accomplished equestrienne bareback rider, Hunter lives in the San Fernando Valley, currently separated from her husband, actor Michael Tylo, who portrayed Blade on The Young and the Restless, with her four children, Chris, Mickey, Izabella Gabrielle, and Katya Ariel. Her autobiography was published in 2000.
