James Yester (born November 24, 1939) is an American musician. He is a member of the sunshine pop group the Association, who had numerous hits on the Billboard charts during the 1960s, including "Windy", "Cherish", "Never My Love" and "Along Comes Mary", among many others.
Since 2014, founding members Jim Yester and Jules Alexander have been leading the current line-up of the Association, which includes Bruce Pictor, Paul Holland, Del Ramos, and Jordan Cole. Alexander and Yester in 1966.
Jim Yester is an original member of The Association, a 60s pop rock group. He rejoined the group in 2006 after a career as a data wrangler in Texas. His brother Jerry is also a musician.
