Hooperman is an American comedy-drama television series which aired on ABC from September 23, 1987, to July 19, 1989. The show centered on the professional and personal life of San Francisco police Inspector Harry Hooperman, played by John Ritter.
Harry Hooperman (John Ritter) is an unconventional irreverent police detective in San Francisco. His favorite move is to throw a watermelon off the ledge to scare jumpers. In the pilot, his beloved landlord Stella is killed by a robber and she leaves him her building and her ill-temper dog Bijoux.
S1.E1 ∙ Hooperman. The owner of an rundown apartment building is killed during a burglary and Harry Hooperman (an Inspector with San Francisco Police Dept.) inherits the building and her beloved (and nasty) dog Bijoux.
