The Visconti Traveling Inkwell Is a Recommended Add-on Purchase. If you recall from my previous review, one of the critiques I had about the Homo Sapiens was ink capacity.
Mar 22, 2023 · The centerband is engraved with "HOMO SAPIENS". The Visconti logo in the finial on the cap. It can sometimes spin around because it’s attached magnetically. The feed has narrow fins and a little Visconti “V” on the feed. The nib features the Visconti name with flourishing – very pleasing and distinctive to their brand.

Nov 4, 2009 · This is a very good everyday pen. It is not heavy, very comfortable in the hand, has Visconti standard nib which performs superbly. Has a very good even if slightly over complex filling mechanism, has a nice large ink view window, holds a large amount of ink and has a nice combination of modern and vintage design to it.

Feb 7, 2019 · The weight and size of the pen is good for extended sessions. I might have scored it a 9 (or even higher) if it had that good ol’ #5 Visconti steel nib. Overall: 7.4/10 So what do you expect for $127US. I expect decent materials, but good usability–because for that price, I’m hoping for a solid EDC.
