It’s a light hearted way to get a quick idea of how popular the book was and the children have fun angling their thumbs if they want to give half marks!

- Would you like to live in the time period or setting of the book? Encourage kids to be specific about what they like or don’t like about the time period and/or setting.
- Do the characters seem convincing and believable? Can you relate to their lives and situations? Do any characters remind you of yourself or someone you know?
