  1. Feb 16, 2022 · Another nice looking fallen horseman of Constantius II. The reverse of this coin gives me the impression that this is an active scene. Many of this type of coin looks lifeless and dull but this one gives me an actual feeling of I’m watching it take place.

  2. Feb 19, 2021 · For a "starter fallen horseman", personally, I would recommend a nice but common large AE2 (~25mm, 5.0g+) Constantius II (edited: typo!) from Antioch or Constantinople. They have good artistry (in the "realism" sense) and can be very attractive for an affordable price (less so than in decades past).

  3. Jul 3, 2015 · My Constantius II is TSE and has spacing under the horse. Mine and Dane's are both TSE but RIC claims the exist for all officina. I have not seen a delta for anyone.
