Sep 16, 2015 · A lot of people visiting the Canadian side of Niagara Falls ask after the Maid of the Mist, and there can be a bit of confusion on what’s ‘happened’ to the Maid ferries. They still run, of course, but since 2013 the port of call for the Maid of the Mist ferries has been from the United States only.

Maid of the Mist operated on both sides, but a few years ago was replaced by Hornblower on the Canadian side. Both follow the same route up to and back from the Falls.
