    • William Henry Harrison, 9th President. Served: 1841. Harrison was born in 1773 in Virginia – Virginia claims him as one of their eight presidents, too – and he settled in the Northwest Territory after fighting alongside Anthony Wayne in the Battle of Fallen Timbers.
