We Have Boots: Directed by Evans Chan. While harking back to Hong Kong's Umbrella Movement of 2014, We Have Boots focuses on the post-Umbrella era of prosecution, political disqualification, and the resurfacing of Occupy and mass protests in 2019.
Evans Chan's documentary We Have Boots about the Umbrella protests and their aftermath. It played as part of an excellent Hong Kong series at this year's Rotterdam International Film Festival, which I wrote about for The Notebook.
