The Descendents experienced several lineup changes and in 1987, when singer Milo Aukerman left the band to attend graduate school, the remaining members—Stevenson, bassist Karl Alvarez, and guitarist Stephen Egerton—relaunched the band as All with singer Dave Smalley.
