Streatham & Clapham High School is an independent day school for girls aged 3 to 18, in south London. The school was founded in 1887 by the Girls' Public Day School Company, which established schools for girls providing academic, moral and religious education. The Head is Cathy Ellott.

Streatham & Clapham High School. Since 1887, SCHS has been a leader in girls’ education, offering a stimulating and nurturing environment to pupils whose curiosity and drive set them apart. We are a diverse community in which our girls’ unique strengths are celebrated and developed.
There are a number of methods of transport that pupils use to travel to the school. Both sites are easily accessible by public transport from many areas in central and south London as well by our extensive school minibus service. We are committed to being good neighbours and citizens.
