Dec 14, 2022 · Windows Movie Maker, part of Windows Essentials 2012, is no longer available for download. Websites that offer free downloads of Movie Maker are not offering the real thing, and those downloads may contain malware, viruses, or hidden costs.
Jan 16, 2018 · Movie Maker was never directly included in Windows 10 like it was in prior versions of Windows, however you could get it by installing Windows Essentials 2012. Unfortunately, Microsoft dropped support for that suite of programs last year (read Movie Maker went away on January 10, 2017)
