Heidenheim an der Brenz, or just Heidenheim ( German pronunciation: [ˈhaɪdn̩ˌhaɪm] ⓘ; Swabian: Hoidna or Hoirna ), is a town in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany.
Heidenheim an der Brenz (schwäbisch „Hoidna“, auch „Hoirna“ [2] [Anm. 1]) ist eine Stadt im Osten Baden-Württembergs an der Grenze zu Bayern, etwa 17 Kilometer südlich von Aalen und 33 Kilometer nördlich von Ulm. Sie ist die Kreisstadt und größte Stadt des Landkreises Heidenheim und nach Aalen und Schwäbisch Gmünd die drittgrößte Stadt der Region Ostwürttemberg .

Heidenheim is a stop along the Brenz train line that runs from Aalen via Heidenheim to Ulm. The regional train line is also part of Heidenheim's local public transport system.
