Louis Ferreira (also known as Luís Ferreira or Justin Louis, sometimes spelled as Justin Lewis) is a Portuguese-born Canadian actor who plays Declan in Breaking Bad.
Ferreira was born in Portugal and emigrated with his parents to Canada early in his life. He grew up in the Jane and Finch neighborhood in North York, Ontario.
The actor went by the stage name Justin Louis for 25 years until his Portuguese-born mother died in 2008, after which he decided to change it to an approximation of his birth name, Louis instead of Luís.
After playing the recurring roles of Declan in season five of Breaking Bad, [12] and Colonel Henderson Hall in Primeval: New World. [13][14] He also starred in the CTV series Motive as homicide detective Oscar Vega, [4][15] with recurring roles in The Romeo Section, [16] and This Life. [17]
Declan is a meth distributor based in Phoenix, Arizona, a competitor to Gustavo Fring and an associate of Mike Ehrmantraut. By the end of Gustavo Fring's empire, he and his crew had amassed upwards of twenty million dollars from their Methamphetamine operation.
