THE FOUNDERS. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and his wife, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, founded the Universal Peace Federation in 2005. Dr. and Mrs. Moon have proposed a revitalized, renewed United Nations. More than 50,000 diplomats, clergy, civic leaders, current and former heads of state have been appointed as Ambassadors for Peace.
