- The Orange Park Farmers’ & Arts Market. Held from September to June, Orange Park has a farmers’ market recently voted as the best in Northeast Florida.
- River Road, Orange Park. To my mind, the loveliest thing about Orange Park is the waterfront on the St. Johns River. This can be enjoyed from Kingsley Avenue in the south to just shy of I-295 in the north.
- The Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts. You don’t even need to leave this corner of the Jacksonville suburbs for high-quality live entertainment. The Thrasher-Horne Center For The Arts is an impressive venue, on the campus of St. Johns River State College.
- Town of Orange Park Fall Festival. Town Hall Park sets the stage for the longest-running arts and crafts festival in Clay County. This event began in 1982, with little more than a dozen booths and a couple of musicians.
It was located at 1700 River Road in Orange Park. In 1922, the order purchased 22 acres to create an elderly home for its retired members (many of which were living at Mooseheart Children's Home in Chicago). That fall, its first 20 residents arrived. It later was expanded to 63 acres and over 400 residents.

Many military folks call Orange Park home since NAS Jax is close by. If you’re looking for rural living, Orange Park is not it, BUT there are many neighborhoods that give you that small town feel.
Feb 19, 2019 · By 1977, the western beltway of I-295 was also completed, allowing access to Orange Park from I-10. And in that same decade, the Orange Park Mall was built just outside of town limits. It quickly became one of the area’s most successful shopping malls, outlasting several others in the greater Jacksonville area.
