Sure, he was cute enough but there were enough mildly-talented pretty boys in Hollywood already. And his looks worked against him - he was too pretty to play average Joes but not hot or tall enough to be a romantic lead.

Sep 7, 2017 · The book is darker than the the movie. It's clear that the Andrew Stevens character is more or less a sociopath from the beginning. Gillian and Andrew Stevens' Robin character don't meet (physically) in the book either, but they don't really need to, as they spend a lot of time in each other's heads. by Anonymous.
Jun 30, 2021 · Todd Bridges (Diff'rent Strokes) is in the back, and I think that's Andrew Stevens in the front (though I'm not sure). That is Dana Plato on the left, and I think the female cop regular from "CHiPs" on the right. It is definitely from "Circus of the Stars.:"
Jun 12, 2023 · I was a kid the first time around, so a lot of this stuff went over my head. I just finished episode #7 "Lovers and Other Killers" with Andrew Stevens as something of a gigolo/secretary/college student. Andrew Stevens was very good looking, but the ending was quite dark and somewhat ambiguous. Does anyone remember this particular episode?
May 31, 2023 · R9 fun fact: "Lovers And Other Killers" with handsome Andrew Stevens was the first episode to be filmed after the pilot but was shelved til later in season one (probably because it's one of the darker episodes).
