Apr 26, 2024 · Wikipedia describes acid rock as “a loosely defined type of rock music that evolved out of the mid-1960s garage-punk movement and helped launch the psychedelic subculture.” While I don’t disagree with this, I do think it’s well past time that the definition of the term was tightened up.
