What makes the district distinctive is its Victorian architecture, right in the heart of Toronto. The village is also considered a Canadian National Historic Site.
The most prominent landmark in the Distillery District, the Rickhouse is a National Register 1936 building that once served as an aging warehouse for 100,000 barrels of bourbon.
