    Mackenzie McDonald is an American professional tennis player, who recently reached the final of the Citi Open in Washington in 2021. He was born on April 16, 1995, which makes him 27 years old.     McDonald scored the biggest win of his career in the second round of the 2023 Australian Open, beating an injured Rafael Nadal 6-4, 6-4, 7-5.

    McDonald represents the United States. He was born in Piedmont, California, and resides in Orlando, Florida and goes by the name of “Mackie”.

    McDonald peaked at No. 12 in the ITF World Tour Junior Rankings in April 2012. He reached the semi-finals in the boys’ singlesat the 2012 Australian Open and also won the 18s singles title at the 2012 Easter Bowl.

    McDonald, who went to UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles), won the 2016 NCAA Division I Tennis Championships in both singlesand doubles. In June 2016, he announced that he would turn professional and would not be returning to UCLA for his senior year.
