Katherine of Aragon was the first wife of Henry VIII. In her eyes, she was his only Queen. Married to Henry for 24 years, Katherine was an intelligent, respected ruler who was devoted to her husband and her Catholic faith. As Queen, she acted as regent while Henry was away, and even oversaw an attempted invasion.
