Google Account Linking gives Google some access to certain features to your account on a third-party app or service. Third parties are companies or developers that aren’t Google.
For example, you may link your account on a streaming music service to your Google Account, then ask Google Assistant to play a song or resume a podcast.
Important: When you use Google Account Linking, we don’t share Google Account data with the third-party app or service. Learn more about what data is shared.

You may get a prompt to link to a third-party app or service while you use a Google product such as Google Assistant or Google Shopping.
To complete this process:
1. Open the third-party app or service and navigate to the sign-in page.
2. Tap Sign in with Google.
3. Tap Agree and link.
This helps you enjoy personalized experiences like:
• Use your Google Assistant to place an order on a third-party app or service.
• Play music from a streaming service.
• Control your Smart Home connected devices, like lights or a thermostat, with the Google Home app and Google Assistant.
