     OK I found the answer myself.

     If you want to show directions from the user's current location, leave the field saddr blank and in the field daddr you can enter the destination coordinates.

     This is how I did it

     Not a solution but an explanation for what you are experiencing:

     As you already know

     window.open("https://translate.google.com", 'sameG');-

     will open a new window/tab with the name sameG. The call will also return a proxy to the window

     object of that page.

     Also this will set window.opener in the new window to a proxy of the window of the calling window.

     Usually calling window.open() again with the same window name will update the previously opened window to navigate to the new URL -- as you do see with the deepl.com example.

     But translate.google.com sends a

     Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy: same-origin-allow-popups

     header! This header is indeed a browser security header and it isolates the browser context of the new window, i.e., the return value of window.open() won't give you any access into the newly opened window and window.opener therein is set to null.

     Additionally this loses the reference to the window name sameG and thus subsequent calls to window.open() will again open a new window instead of updating the already opened one.

     TL;DR: The Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy

     is the reason for this.

     You are trying to open a Google Form from a script. Google Apps Script will not automatically open web pages, and a Google Form is a web page - so you can't write a script to open a form.

     You may find it easier to create a simple hyperlink to the Google Form.

     The steps to do this (assuming that you have access to the form editor):

     Send Form

     • click "Send",
     • at the top of the screen where it says "Send via", click the middle icon for the link,
     • click the link ( or a variation here is to click the "Shorten URL" box to get, well, a shorter URL),
     • click "Copy" (to put a copy of the link into memory,
     • switch to your spreadsheet and paste the link into a cell.

     This automatically creates a hyperlink. To access the URL, hover you have to hover the hyperlink, and then click the popup box that appears.

     To all those wondering how is it possible to show this. TLDR you can't without support from Google.

     The popup comes when you add extra param enifd with the app link to play store

     This enifd param contains gpId based some configuration in encrypted manner if you add this to applink and then try to fire applink from any of your app then you will see the bottomsheet. But if you remove this param it will again open the play store app.

     Though the link is copied from Chrome so I am not aware what exactly is being passed under enifd param. Check with Google if you want to find out.
