Kenmerken. Het Surinaams-Nederlands verschilt op verschillende vlakken (uitspraak, woordenschat, grammatica) van het Europese Nederlands. De meeste van die verschillen zijn te verklaren door invloed van andere in Suriname gesproken talen, zoals het Sranan.
