The Rijksmuseum ( Dutch: [ˈrɛiksmyˌzeːjʏm] ⓘ) is the national museum of the Netherlands dedicated to Dutch arts and history and is located in Amsterdam. [10] [11] The museum is located at the Museum Square in the borough of Amsterdam South, close to the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, and the Concertgebouw.

The Shop and The Café are open from 9 am to 6 pm. These are only accessible with an entrance ticket to the museum until 5 pm. Between 5 and 6 pm you can enter without an entrance ticket. RIJKS restaurant is open on Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and on Tuesday to Sunday for dinner. The green gardens around the museum are only open during summer.
