Jake Brooks '21. I chose Missouri Science and Tech because it had a great reputation and it was close to home. I am a pre-med student, and Missouri S&T has a great reputation for having good students that go on to be successful in Med School.
All students transferring to S&T must achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 2.000 in courses taken at S&T for graduation. In order to graduate, students must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 2.000 in courses taken in their major department.

Missouri University of Science and Technology is a great school to attend if you want to obtain an engineering or technological degree. I think Missouri S&T is a great university with helpful and intelligent professors, interactive students, and great facilities. Missouri S&T is a great opportunity for education for a fair cost.

1. Will faculty who maintain rigorous standards be compared to faculty who become extremely lenient, in terms of CET scores, and then those CET scores used in the fall to “punish” unpopular faculty? Dr. Steve Roberts, interim provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs, offers the following response: “Some faculty have expressed concern that their CET scores this semester will be negatively affected by last month’s switch to online teaching, and that these scores could have undue influence on next year’s annual reviews, third-year reviews, and promotion and tenure evaluations. I agree with the common points to the other responses but will share a different perspective. When I graduated from high school my goal was to become an electrical engineer.
This process also requires a review of students who receive all "F” grades to see if they attended and earned the failing grades, or did not attend and did not officially withdraw. It is very likely that a portion of the aid received will need to be paid back to the federal government and Missouri S&T.
