The town hall online, occupies an entire city block overlooking Lake Ontario. As the webcam clearly demonstrates, it represents a monumental neoclassical building with a characteristic tholobate and dome. Its construction was completed in 1844. In 1961, the Town Hall was designated a National Historic Landmark of Canada. Skating is free at the outdoor ice rink at Springer Market Square! COVID-19 safety precautions. Springer Market Square rink is open for skating under the province’s re-opening framework and through guidance from KFL&A Public Health. Limit of 25 skaters on the ice surface at one time. Use will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
