    Mykolaiv is a city in Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Mykolaiv Raion. Its population is approximately 14,915. To distinguish Mykolaiv from the much larger southern city, the former is sometimes called Mykolaiv on Dniester after the major river it situated on. The closest railway station is officially called Mykolayiv-Dnistrovsky.

    The territory of modern Mykolaiv Raion, Lviv Oblast formed part of the Kingdom of Poland since the reign of King Casimir III the Great. For a short period, between 1370 and 1387, it was part of the Kingdom of Hungary, before being reintegrated with Poland. In 1570 near the former Polish royal village Drohowyż, chorąży of Przemyśl, Polish nobleman Mikołaj Tarło founded the town which was named Mikołajów after him.     Hradivka, is a selo in the Lviv Oblast of western Ukraine. Local government — Hradivska village council. The population of the village numbers approximately 1525 people.

    The village Hradivka located in the Horodotsky Raion, along the Highway Ukraine – Lviv – Sambir – Uzhhorod. It is situated in the 42 kilometres from the regional center Lviv, 17 kilometres from the district center Horodok and 272 kilometres from Uzhhorod.

    The first record of the village called "Hoshany" dates back to 1426 year. Since 1961 — Hradivka. During the Polish-Turkish war 1672-1676 in the area Hoshany was a battle between the Turkish army and army of Hetman Sobieski's, where the Turkish army was defeated. On the outskirts of village is preserved a monument.

    In the village there are two churches: 1. Church of the Transfiguration 1878 To the east of the Church is a three-tiered wooden belfry. The church was built in 1878 was funded by the John Janka. By 1934 was in the village priest Kazimir Hermak. He was a husband of sisters Josaphat Kotsylovsky. Church of the Holy Eucharist, which was consecrated in 2011.
