MAGILLA GORILLA: AIRLIFT (TV) Summary. One in this series of animated programs about Magilla Gorilla, a dim-witted simian who lives in a pet shop owned by the beleagured Mr. Peebles. In this episode, Magilla becomes airborne after accidentally drinking an anti-gravity formula created by eccentric inventor Professor Skiball.
Magilla inadvertently saves the Earth from an attack by the Planet Zero by demonstrating his typically American fitness and strength to his space creature captors.
When a scientist asks Mr. Peebles to store an anti-gravity formula, Magilla drinks it. Magilla floats around while Peebles follows in an attempt to catch him and get an antidote. An ad agency wants to hire Magilla to float around to help promote a new product, the formula wears off.
