Republic_of_Lucca. The Republic of Lucca was a historic state of Italy, which lasted from 1160 to 1805 on the central Italian peninsula. Its territory extended beyond the city of Lucca, reaching the surrounding countryside in the north-western part of today's Tuscany region, to the borders with Emilia-Romagna and Liguria.

It must have been a year or two ago that I went cycling with my friends, when we accidentally bumped into this little town called "Buren". I didn't have my camera with me then, and little could I have guessed that I would return there this weekend, for it wasn't planned until the very last moment ... Needless to say (or so I hope based on this photo), it is a rediculously beautiful little town ...

Rockefeller Center. Rockefeller Center wordt ook wel "Top of the Rock" genoemd. Het is een gebouwencomplex dat uit 19 gebouwen bestaat. Het is gebouwd tussen 1929 en 1940. Ook vanaf het observatiedek van de "Top of the Rock" kunt u genieten van de skyline van New York. Een voordeel is dat u vanaf hier ook uitzicht heeft op de Empire State Building.
