Oct 9, 2017 · The Bayern class wasn’t even remotely on par in terms of armor protection (despite the nominally thicker main belt), secondary armament, speed, cursing range, and even redundancy for all of its systems. That’s understandable since it was a 1910s design, not a 1930s one, but Bismarck was definitely superior in every since of the word.
