Feb 22, 2013 · Hellbat. The biggest benefit to using the hellbat is that in its hellbat form it is considered a biological unit. What does that mean? It means that they can be healed by medivacs! Hellbats also gain a 50% health buff in this form, but are a slower moving unit and lose their long splash damage in favour of a cone effect in front of them.

May 10, 2021 · The Hellbat is designed to deal with massive amounts of Light-type units, such as Zealots and Zerglings, standing at the front lines with it's relatively short-range flame attack. The Hellbat can transform into a Hellion (and vice versa) if upgraded from a tech lab on a Factory. The Hellbat saw a lot of change in the later stages of the beta.
