WikiProject Automobiles exists to co-ordinate the effort to compile articles on all types and classes of automobiles, automotive parts and technology of the automotive industry. Additionally, it has the goal of presenting all articles in a consistent, legible and informative format.

It has been suggested that this section be split into a new page titled Wikipedia:Naming conventions (automobiles). ( Discuss ) ( June 2020 ) Automobile nomenclature, including article titles, should generally take the form of make and model, for example, "Toyota Corolla" or "Volkswagen Passat".
