Ewell Castle School is a 3–18 mixed, private day school and sixth form in Ewell, Epsom, Surrey, England. It was founded in 1926 by Herbert Budgell as a boarding school and became fully mixed in September 2015. [3] It consists of the Main House, Glyn House, Chessington Lodge and Fitzalan House. [4]
Ewell Castle School is located in the attractive village of Ewell. The Senior School site of some fifteen acres was once part of the grounds of Nonsuch Palace built by Henry VIII. The Senior School is housed in a castellated mansion in Church Street. The Castle was built in 1814 for Thomas Calverley.
