The Santos-Dumont No. 6 was an airship designed and built by the Brazilian pioneer aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. In 1901 it was used by him to win the Deutsch de la Meurthe prize for a flight from Parc Saint Cloud to the Eiffel Tower and back within thirty minutes.
No. 6 (airship) – Construction started immediately after the loss of No. 5, and completed by early September. Similar to No. 5, but with a larger envelope 22 m (72 ft 2 in) long and capacity of 622 m 3 (22,000 cu ft). Won the Deutsch de la Meurth prize on 19 October 1901.

Powered by a 20-horsepower Dutheil and Chalmers engine, the entire aircraft, including diminutive pilot Santos-Dumont, weighed just 233 pounds. Santos-Dumont made his last flight in July 1910.
