RT is a good barometer of critical praise from professional movie writers. But it’s too dumbed down and simplified to be effective. 90% on the tomatometer just means that 9 out of 10 critics thought it was a C+ movie or better. IMDb ratings can be guilty of being brigaded so their reliability is also pretty questionable.
