Shawn Michael Phelan (January 7, 1975 – September 27, 1998) was an American television and film actor. He died after four years in a coma following a traffic accident that caused traumatic brain injury on March 29, 1994.
Phelan passed away on September 27, 1998, at the age of 23. Ironically his character in the 1992 film, "Miles From Nowhere," is left comatose after a car accident. As it happens, his character survived, while he died.
