- The opening tracking shot down the suburban street was attempted a few times with various rigs attached to the car, but they were unable to stabilize the image.
- The opening sequence with the couple in the car was originally set to Big Brother and the Holding Company’s “All Is Loneliness,” but the music supervisor brought him more options including the Three Dog Night song, “Easy to Be Hard.”
