The Time, also known as Morris Day and the Time and The Original 7ven, is an American funk rock band founded in Minneapolis in 1981. They contributed to the development of the Minneapolis sound, an eclectic fusion of funk, R&B, new wave, synth-pop and dance.
Oct 13, 2023 · Morris Day was born on December 13, 1957, in Springfield, Illinois. He grew up in Minneapolis and started his music career in the ’70s. Morris Day’s signature style and charismatic stage presence helped to set The Time apart from other bands of the time. His smooth vocals, combined with the group’s funky sound, made them an instant hit.

- “Sign Of The Times” By Harry Styles. Shortly after One Direction disbanded, Harry Styles released his debut solo single, “Sign of the Times.” Off the album Harry Styles, it showed the world that he was much more than a boy-band castoff.
