Fifteen-year-old Terry O'Kelly (Rick Schroder) is fatherless, and his remaining parent, his mother, is dying. Anguished, the soon-to-be orphan makes a surprisingly grown-up decision: Terry promises to care for his six brothers and vows to keep the family together - no matter what.
I highly recommend this movie. This is a story of a promise that a seventeen year old boy made to his dying mother, the promise of keeping his brothers' together. This movie made me cry. This is one of Rick Schroder's best performances in my opinion.
